Three vectors can define the underlying values of 5G. A reduced communications latency, a higher data rate, and a higher system capacity. These three capabilities are:
- Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB)
- Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communications (URLLC)
- Massive Machine-Type Communications (mMTC)
Each of these capabilities is associated with a different device type. The eMBB is related to handsets, the uRLLC can be associated with mobile gaming or self-driving cars, and the mMTC can be sensors, all types of connected sensors. All these devices will be associated with a 5G new capability, which is called network slicing.
Mobileum security solutions are able to provide the necessary secure connections on different 5G slices.
